The “heart” of our home is Recreation

Each resident is a unique individual… and comes to the Home with a myriad of life experiences and memories. Our staff creates an environment that nurtures these experiences and motivates the individual to participate at their maximum level. From our ethnic cooking programs to our cabarets the goal of the therapeutic Recreation staff is laughter, emotional connections and smiling hearts.
Life at the Jewish Home is a new chapter in the lives of our residents and everyone has an opportunity to continue to be involved. Our hallways are filled with music and the sounds of visiting children. Residents can select from a full schedule of educational, spiritual, recreational, physical and intellectual programs, which are both stimulating and fun. The history of the Home and its place in the community helps to trigger memories for all.
